I am now a post op female. Well here is a little about my history and my future. I have known since I was a young kid that I should have been born female. I spent a lot of my life trying to repress this, and I spent 20 plus years self medicating getting stoned and drunk. I needed to quit getting high for a job, once I did that it all came crashing in on me again. I found the need to be myself. My now ex-spouse sent me to find out more information on someone with gender issues. August of 2011 I started therapy which I found a therapist through a support group I found a couple of weeks earlier.

I started on Hormone therapy Feb 2, 2012. At this point I did not let anyone know that I was in transition. After a few months I did let some friends in on the secret. I stayed on hormone therapy for 14 months before I made my switch over.

I live as a woman full-time 24/7, on April 11, 2013 I had Facial Feminization Surgery on April 11, 2013. I am excited to move on with my life as the woman I am. It is interesting in how my friends have been so supportive of my transition, hopefully they will remain so. I am Post-OP since April 18, 2014
